Warhammer 40k Short Story: The Tides of Daemons Part 2

He knew that he would soon land on the Space Hulk. He wondered what he would fight and find. There were rumours that there were ancient pieces of technology on such places. >>Maybe can I prove myself worthy towards the captain-master if I find some arcane technology.<<, he thought aloud. Garo, his fellow friend, asked him then if he said something and he answered that he were just thinking.

Garo thought about that what Belalius said. >>Had Belalius also heard the rumours?<<, Garo wondered. Deepest within him, something believed that the rumours were true. He had never believed some simple rumours. Before he would believe something, he wanted proofs. But this time he believed it, he didn’t know why. When he heard the announcement that they would make planet fall, he smiled. >>It is a Space Hulk and not a planet, we will attack.<<, he joked to his squad. And they began to laugh. (The Desert Skulls have a odd humour. They also joke about other chapter members, that don’t know much. Knowing much is prestige amongst the battle-brothers, because the chapter is secretive.)

Nurgle
He knew that the 1st Company were already fighting against the daemons. He wanted to be out and fight with them, instead he waited in a drop-pod. Slowly falling towards it, the Space Hulk. In the drop-pod were Belalius and his Command Squad. They should lead the charge on the Space Hulk. Suddenly he heard a loud explosion. He knew it was not their drop-pod. He knew it was something that was underneath their drop-pod, that something were on the Space Hulk. >>We have landed my Brothers. Prepare to fight. We will leave the drop-pod in 30 seconds.<<, did he tell his Command Squad.
